La Lechera — lemon cake

La Lechera’s brief started from a simple recipe — a lemon cake — and one very specific line: “give me five minutes and I’ll stop the clock for you”. There was no need to spell it out step by step like a recipe book: the goal was to pick the most appealing moments of the process and turn them into something fun and interesting to watch.

We solved it with parallel editing, intercutting those key moments with shots of a playful girl making her favourite recipe — experimenting with camera tricks and closing the piece with bespoke post-production work.
